Antigua and Barbuda

Background:
World Travel Market is the world’s leading conference for the travel industry and takes place in London’s largest exhibition centre, ExCel in the Docklands. The three-day event welcomes over 50,000 exhibitors, buyers, media, and industry professionals for a chance to network and negotiate with members of the tourism community. Over the three days, ABTA hosted over 40 meetings with a variety of top tour operators, suppliers and some of the UK’s most influential media. Antigua and Barbuda asked us to design submit, and oversee the design.

Concept:
The plasma wall features moving content about Antigua & Barbuda and shows what is on offer on the island. On the floor, it will have blue printed vinyl which creates a crystal blue water effect for those visiting the booth. The stand is both welcoming and spacious with the bright fuchsia brand colours beaming out. Illuminated light boxes were used throughout the design.

Background:
ITB Berlin attracted over 10,000 exhibitors from 186 countries and some 115,000 trade visitors on the first three businessto-business meeting days. The event, which also includes two final days on the weekend where the travel fair is open to the general public, presented Antigua and Barbuda’s Tourism industry with a majorPR and business negotiation opportunity to further the country’s Tourism marketing
efforts. Antigua and Barbuda asked us to design submit, and oversee the design for ITB Berlin.

Concept:
Using the main concept from WTM, our brief was to scale down the size of the design whilst incorporating all the original concept. This included the crystal blue water effect on the floor, large plasma screen showcasing Antigua and Barbuda attractions and bright fuchsia brand colours.
