One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean.

Challenge

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), is the region’s tourism development agency, with 28 Dutch, English, French and Spanish country members and a myriad of private sector all working together. The CTO’s vision is to position the Caribbean as the most desirable, year-round, warm weather destination. We were asked to design the World Travel Market stand for 2016 to showcase the region’s destinations, accommodation and service providers so they could benefit collectively to engage on activities for trade at WTM. World Travel Market – described by the organisers as the leading global event for the travel industry.

Solution

The CTO’s space showcases the bright colours you see on island, and within the CTO brand. Each of the 12 different sectors, both countries, representation and hotels had their own space, sub branding and visualisation, but worked together with the overall CTO brand seamlessly. The private room stream content, videos and interviews back to the Caribbean. Education days were worked into the space on the stand.

The Caribbean was one of the best performing regions in the first six months of this year with visitor arrivals up 5.8 compared to a 4 per cent rise in international tourism arrivals with the biggest year-on-year percentage increase in visitor numbers.
